This guide covers how your billing cycle works (based on your sign-up date), how to check your renewal status directly in the Cargo app, and the simple steps for updating your payment info or canceling your plan. You’ll also find the "fine print" on payment failures and their specific refund rules.
When will I be billed for my subscription?
Your billing cycle is based on the day and time you purchased the subscription. Suprscriptions are billed annually or monthly.
How to view your subscription details
You can view your renewal date in Cargo -> Profile -> Billing.
Subscription Renewal Dates
Your subscription automatically renews on the same day and time each month or year based on the date and time of purchase.
If your subscription started on the 31st of a month, and the following month has fewer days, your renewal will occur on the last day of that month.
Examples:
31st of the month: If you subscribe on January 31st, your next renewal will be February 28th (or 29th in a leap year). In March, it will return to the 31st.
30th of the month: If you subscribe on August 30th, your February renewal will be February 28th.
Example: Annual Subscription
Original subscription purchase date and time: February 2, 2025 at 9:36 am
Automatic Renewal: February 2, 2026 at 9:36 am
Cancellation: To cancel this subscription's renewal, you would have to click Cancel in Cargo any month, week or day BEFORE Feb 2, 2026
Example: Monthly Subscription
Original subscription purchase date and time: March 31, 2026 at 4:52 pm
Automatic Renewal: April 30, 2026 at 4:52 pm
Cancellation: This subscription will automatically renew every month until you click Cancel in Cargo on any day BEFORE the listed next renewal date.
Subscription information is only within the Cargo application. You cannot manage your subscription on kitbash3d.com/account.

On the next screen, select the billing cycle that matches your current billing cycle Annual or Monthly.

Changes will take effect on your next renewal date.
Note: Access changes for downgrades are automated to ensure you get the full value of the time you've already purchased. No exceptions apply.
What happens if my renewal payment doesn’t go through?
If your renewal payment fails, you will lose access while the payment system attempts to retry the payment method attached to your subscription.
We'll send you an email every time a payment fails.
The email will contain a link to update your payment method in Cargo ahead of the next payment collection attempt.
You can also log into Cargo and update your payment information without the link
During this period, do not purchase a new subscription. Contact info@kitbash3d.com if you need assistance with your subscription.
If the system is unable to successfully charge the card on file, your subscription will be terminated. To resubscribe, you must purchase a new subscription.
If your renewal payment fails after multiple retries, your subscription will be automatically cancelled by the system.
KitBash cannot reinstate any previous subscription terms or special pricing after the subscription ends.

How do I cancel my next renewal?
You can disable the next auto-renewal at any time before the billing cycle ends

Step 1. Navigate to your Profile -> Billing
Step 2 Click Cancel
Step 3. A browser window will open, confirm your cancellation. This step must be taken in order to disable the next auto-renewal. If you skip this step, your subscription will continue to renew.
What happens when I turn off auto-renew?
When you disable auto-renew (cancel), you'll retain access to the KitBash3D Library until your billing cycle is over. When your billing cycle ends, your subscription will automatically end.
When your subscription ends, you can continue to work on the projects you created without interruption.
While you retain the rights to any works you create during your subscription, you cannot import, transfer, copy or use Cargo Assets obtained through your subscription in any new projects once your subscription ends.
Subscriptions do not grant ownership of assets; subscriptions provide a License to our assets during the active term according to the Usage Rights purchased.
If you change your mind during the billing cycle and want to reactivate your next renewal, follow this guide to reactivating your plan.
