At KitBash3D, we try to create assets in ways that are software agnostic and work for as many different pipelines as possible. We are always looking for ways we can speed up production time and make building worlds easier.

As of right now, our models come with textures hooked into default shaders but do not have materials setup for render engine specific materials. Default shaders allow you to see all the texture map connections, and quickly remap/rebuild shaders for your render engine of choice.

Shaders are a complicated issue since there are so many different render engines, 3d softwares, and file types. Rest assured, we are currently working with many different render engines to find a solution that works across the board for all of our users. When we are ready to launch shaders, you will receive an update to any kits you have purchased.
