What it means
Cargo uses a custom version of USD files to store 3D data. If a file is tampered with, or if the download was incomplete, the asset may not contain all the information necessary to import it into your 3D Software.
This will result in an Error 104: Invalid Asset File.
How to fix it
On Windows
Step 1: With Windows File Explorer go to the location of your download folder.
If you haven't changed it from its default location, copy & paste the following into the address bar: %APPDATA%\kitbash3d\kits
.
Step 2: Delete the folders you don't need right now
On macOS
Step 1: Use Cmd + Shift + G to locate the download folder using it's path
Step 2: If you haven't changed the download path from it's default location, copy and paste the following into the search.
Replace YOURNAME with your macOS username: /users/YOURNAME/.kitbash3d/kits
Hit Enter
Step 3: In Finder, delete the folders within .kitbash3d/kits
you don't need right now or locate and delete the asset that is producing the Error 104: Invalid Asset File
