Licensing & Usage
Your Individual license includes full commercial rights for individual use. This means you can use our assets in your professional portfolio and freelance projects while you study.
Assets obtained via an Individual License cannot be transferred to a corporate or studio pipeline. If you are hired by a studio, the company must purchase a Small Business or Enterprise Tier license to use KitBash3D assets in their commercial productions.

Restrictions
Discount codes are strictly mapped to your verified institutional email. The discount cannot be transferred to a personal email address (e.g., Gmail, Outlook) after verification.
To receive the discount for the renewal of your annual subscription, you must contact customer support at info@kitbash3d.com from your .edu email address before your renewal. Once verified, we’ll be able to ensure that your renewal is discounted.
View your renewal date in Cargo → Account ⟶ BillingCurrent Subscribers: This discount cannot be applied to an existing, active subscription. If you are currently a subscriber, you must disable your next auto-renewal and wait for your current term to expire before applying for the educational rate on a new annual plan.
FAQ
I’m in a 3D bootcamp/online course but don’t have a .edu email. Can I apply?
We can only offer the discount to students with a valid institutional .edu email address. If your program does not provide one, we encourage you to keep an eye on our newsletter for seasonal public promotions. Sign up here
What happens to my assets after my student status and subscription expires?
Assets you have correctly incorporated into "Larger Works" (like a finished portfolio piece or short film) during your licensed term can continue to be displayed. However, your right to use the assets for new projects expires along with your subscription.
How can I continue my KitBash3D Unlimited subscription after my school enrollment expires?
If you’ll no longer have access to your .edu email address:
Ensure you disable auto-renew in Cargo’s Account Settings. You must take this step any time before the actual renewal date. (Access your renewal date in Cargo → Account)
Create a new account on kitbash3d.com with your personal email address
